When life gives you lemon's ......

"When life gives you lemon's" is a very common expression,but something is normaly added to it such as : "When life gives you lemon's make lemonade" ect ...
But I have decided to make a list of things to do when life gives you lemon's.
This list includes things you realy should with lemon's and things to add on to the expression.
Things to actualy do :
.Make lemonade
.Make batteries
.Make a lemon powerd clock
.Eat them
.Grate lemon zest and use it some how
.Squeeze lemon juice in your enemy's cut
.Put it in somebodys drink
There are plenty more reasons but im not that bored.

Adding to the expression :
.Shut up and eat them
.Make lemonade
.Make orange juice.No realy dont.

Summer Games to Play When Your Bored

I don't know about you but I get bored quite easily so I thought up of some games to play during the summer when you get bored. There are millions of things to do but here is 10 things to do !

1. Create a homemade Olympics. First each person picks a country each and then you think up of sports to play and compete in them sports against your friends and who ever wins gets three points for their picked country.The person with most points at the end wins the Olympics!
2. Have a water fight.Gather six (including you) friends and split you in to two groups of three Next you pick water weapons such as water guns,water balloons etc... and start the fight ! It isn't a game where a teams wins its just for fun and to cool you down in the hot weather.
3. Set up a lemonade stand.Setting up a lemonade stand is fun ! you earn money,you get
4. Lemonade...  Find somewhere busy like a local beach or village or some place like that to set up your stand.
5. Wash your parents car. My brother and I were sooo bored we volunteered to do it and we got paid a euro each to do it.It's fun if you put on your swimming suit and wash the car so if you spray your brother with the hose it's OK... and then it turns into a water fight!
6. Find a beach to go to and go for a swim.It may be cold but.... it's fun I suppose.
7. Train your dog.I have three  dogs and I have decided to train our puppy pippin!
8. Direct a mini movie. Get props and costumes and write out a script and make a mini movie !
9. Go for a picnic.get some food,a football,a frisbee and go for a picnic on the beach or in a field or ... anywhere realy !
10. Go cycling.You could go cycling or rolerblading,walking,jogging and skipping.The list goes on but I don't have that much time.

Book v Movie ........ The Hunger Games !!!

Hello readers,
Just before I begin my post I would like to apologise for not posting in ages ! moving on .........
I will warn you , IF YOU HAVN'T READ  OR SEEN THE HUNGER GAMES AND YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO NOT READ THIS AS IT CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS !!! :)

Both the movie and the book of the hunger games are EPIC but are in several ways different as I will point out for you.

So here we have the diferences,

• In the movie the avox girl isn't  mentioned at all
• One of the biggest differences is how Katniss gets the mockingjay pin.In the movie she is walking around a sort of market place when she spots the pin and is given it for free where as in the book Katniss is given the pin from madge the mayors daughter.
• Haymitch doesn't fall off the stage at the reaping in the movie but does in the book
• Before Katniss leaves she has three visitors:Gale,Prim and her mother but in the book Peetas dad also visits and gives her cookies which she later thows out the train window :( I would have eaten them !
• In the book it's Cinna who tells the couple to hold hands where as in the movie it's Peetas's idea
• in the movie before the games start Katniss doesn't get distracted and loose time when the games begin but in the book she gets distracted and looses time
• In the book Katniss finds water a day after the games begin but she finds a pond straight away in the movie
• In the book Rue points out the tracker jacker nest about Katniss to warn her but in the movie Rue tells her to drop the nest on their heads rather than warning her of the nest
• In the book after Rue's death Katniss recieves a gift from district 11 but this doesn't happen in th movie
• In the book when Peeta is sick Katniss tells him a story about how she got Prims goat but this doesn't happen in the movie

They are some of the many differences in both the book and movie .
Personaly I prefer the book because it gives more detail than the movie and out of all the changes that were made I prefer the way they have them in the book.I still love the movie but i prefer the book a little bit more. I would give the movie a ..........9/10 and the book a ............. 9.5/10 !!!

That is pretty much all I hve to say about the hunger games and I will certainly do this again when the second movie comes out ! thanks for reading goodbye !!!

 

Cookies and cream chocolate chip oreo cupcakes

This is a delicious recipe from Donal skehan's cookbook: good mood food.these cupcakes are
easy to make and are very tasty.
ingredients
175g self raising flour
110g caster sugar
110g margarine or butter

50ml milk or water                                                                              
50g chocolate chips                                                                  
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder                                    
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon of baking powder
for the Oreo cream frosting
250 ml of fresh cream
25g icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
8 Oreo cookies crushed and  8 to decorate.
1. preheat the oven to 180 c gas mark 4 and line cupcake tray with paper cases
2.in a large bowl combine all the ingredients except for the chocolate chips, make well in the centre of the bowl,break in the two eggs and add the butter, using an electric hand mixer beat all the ingredients together until combined.you are looking for the batter to be light and creamy.add the rest of the liquid in stages required.stir through the chocolate chips.
divide the batter evenly in the paper cases and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until firm and light brown on top.
3.allow to cool on a wire rack before applying the Oreo cream frosting.
4.for the Oreo frosting simply beat the cream,vanilla extract and icing sugar until it becomes thick.gently fold in the Oreo cookie crumbles and  spoon the mixture into an icing bag with a large round nozzle.squeeze the Oreo frosting onto the cupcake and top with broken cookies.

operation 1511260 part two

We're just about to go to town to get some supplies for my nan's surprise birthday and a present of course.

she most certainly wont be expecting  a surprise party after finding out we're here . our plan is to collect some food for the party today along with decorations and hide them in the garage (we need a way to keep her out of the garage!)and tomorrow when she is at mass we will put up the decorations,put the food on the table and bring in the guests the only thing missing is her!!! so you know the rest blah dee blah blah surprise!!blah blah

operation 1611260 part 1 complete

Yesterday morning at 11.00 I took the airplane to Gatwick airport where my grandfather awaited,
 we had a two hour drive to luton the town where my grandparents live we were going to surprise my nan it was going to be her birthday she had no idea we were in luton.we arrived at my aunt carolines house and had dinner (spagetti bolganase). later that evening my grandfather went to collect my nan,
from her house and brought her back to caroline's.the signal to hide was a knock on the window from my grandfather.we were all playing in the sitting room when we heard a knock on the window so we all ran and hid
my grandmother walked into the room and we all jumped out and shouted SURPRISE!!!!!!!!! she was literly speechless.she cant believe were here.make sure you read part two tomorrow.
